For abnormal temperature monitoring in manufacturing processes
or preventive maintenance, disaster prevention and security!
It can be used in various monitoring or control solutions.
Fixed type thermography for monitoring and control "TVS-50SC"

Nippon Avionics Co., Ltd. (President: Shun-ichi Suzuki. Paid in capital: 5,145 million Yen) will introduce to the market at the end of November "monitoring control thermo TVS-50SC" suitable for fixed installation monitoring or built-in type application for FA process monitoring, disaster prevention, disaster monitoring or security surveillance as a new model of the TVS series infrared thermography.
This product is designed to be compact with environment resistance capability, and communication interface for LAN and SDK for development of application software are included as standard configuration. It can be used from small scale systems to large scale systems.
Infrared thermography is attracting more attention in the field of monitoring and control, as well as for reassurance and safety of the society. Nippon Avionics will continue to offer better products to the market based on the thermography technology accumulated over the years.
Features of the product
1) Camera stand-alone operation is available.
・・thermal image monitoring utilizing the alarm function ・・
Thermal images can be displayed on a monitor with video signal output. Furthermore, an alarm state when the temperature has exceeded the preset temperature can be output externally as a contact signal. With such a simple configuration, monitoring of abnormal temperature can be realized.
2) It is equipped with a function to track highest/lowest temperature within the screen.
Because it is equipped with a tracking function to track highest/lowest temperature within the screen, an area which may exceed the preset temperature and become an alarm can be estimated.
3) IP-54 environment resistant capability is assured even without the housing.
Because of the IP-54 splash-proof construction, it can be installed even without the housing. It enables construction of a monitoring and control system at a very low cost. (Depending on the environmental condition, the camera housing may be necessary.)
4) Various communication interfaces including RS-232C (standard), LAN or IEEE1394 (selectable option)
By connecting the camera with your PC via RS-232C, operational parameters of the camera can be changed, or temperature of a desired area in the screen or maximum/minimum temperature of a rectangular area can be read out. If LAN or IEEE1394, available as option, is used, thermal image data can be transferred. Furthermore, thermal images can be transferred in a high speed of 60 frames per second by using IEEE1394 interface.
5) SDK is offered with the open-to-the-public API for system integrator support
Because SDK (software development kit), which can utilize the application interface to the maximum level, is included as the standard configuration, application software can be developed for effective use of the thermography.
6) Various options
Various optional accessories, including the lens group, such as wide FOV lens, telescopic lens and close-up lens, housing and camera platform are available.
Examples of major application
1. Disaster prevention monitoring (fire, disaster)
Volcano monitoring, fire monitoring of garbage-disposal facility (fire monitoring of waste pit and fracturing machine conveyor), disaster prevention of petrochemical plant
2. Process monitoring/control
Monitoring of iron shell temperature in iron mills, monitoring of metal mold temperature in automotive industry, inspection of battery heating
3. Security surveillance
Monitoring for invaders in important facilities, monitoring of suspicious ships, yard surveillance in a seaport, coastal patrol
4. Others (research evaluation, built-in application, mounted application)
Various experiments, evaluations, incorporation into inspection system, installation on a helicopter, installation on robots
